Recreate restaurant-quality Texas Roadhouse flavors at home with this simple baked salmon recipe. This dish features incredibly moist, flaky salmon coated in a sweet and savory glaze, ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (for extra smoky flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Brush the tops and sides of the salmon lightly with olive oil. Season evenly with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and smoked paprika to create the glaze.
  5. Spoon the sweet and savory glaze evenly over the top of each salmon fillet, spreading it to cover the surface.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  7. Remove the salmon from the oven. Let it rest for 2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving immediately.

Notes

  • For crispier edges, you can briefly place the salmon under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning the glaze.
  • This recipe works well for meal prep; store cooled salmon in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Serve this restaurant style salmon at home with mashed potatoes or roasted asparagus for a complete, easy dinner.
