Make this fluffy, creamy Whipped Pink Lemonade for a refreshing summer drink that tastes like a dessert. It is quick, easy, and perfect for parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup strawberry syrup or raspberry syrup (for color and flavor)
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and sprinkles for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make the simple syrup: Combine the lemon juice and sugar in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  2. Combine the base: In a large pitcher, mix the cooled syrup mixture with the cold water. Stir well.
  3. Add color: Stir in the strawberry or raspberry syrup until you achieve a light pink color. Chill this lemonade base in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Prepare the whip: In a separate bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Do not over-whip.
  5. Assemble the drink: When ready to serve, pour the chilled pink lemonade base into tall glasses filled with ice.
  6. Top with cream: Gently spoon or pipe a generous dollop of the whipped cream mixture over the top of each glass.
  7. Garnish: Add a lemon slice to the rim and sprinkle with optional sprinkles. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a natural pink color, substitute the syrup with 1/2 cup of pureed, strained strawberries or raspberries mixed into the base.
  • If you prefer a less sweet drink, reduce the granulated sugar to 3/4 cup.
  • This recipe makes a rich, dessert-like drink. For a thinner, classic pink lemonade, skip the heavy cream step and simply mix the syrup base with cold water and serve over ice.
