Set up a beautiful, visually appealing mimosa bar perfect for garden parties or Mother’s Day brunch, featuring custom ice cubes made with edible flowers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) chilled dry sparkling wine (Prosecco or Cava)
  • 2 cups chilled fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup chilled grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 cup chilled cranberry juice
  • 1 cup fresh berries (raspberries, blueberries)
  • 1 cup edible flowers (pansies, violas, small roses)
  • Ice cube trays

Instructions

  1. Prepare the floral ice cubes: Place one or two small edible flowers into each compartment of the ice cube trays.
  2. Fill the trays with filtered water, leaving a small space at the top.
  3. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid.
  4. Set up your mimosa bar station: Arrange the chilled sparkling wine, juices, and fresh berries on a serving cart or table.
  5. Place the floral ice cubes in a decorative bucket or bowl filled with regular ice to keep them cold.
  6. Provide several different types of glassware (flutes or coupe glasses) and small bowls containing garnishes like extra berries or citrus slices.
  7. Instruct guests to pour their desired juice base, top with sparkling wine, and add a few floral ice cubes for a sophisticated presentation.

Notes

  • For a Pinterest-perfect look, use clear glass carafes for the juices and tie small ribbons around the stems of the champagne flutes.
  • Display small, handwritten labels describing the juice options to add a personal touch to your brunch drinks setup.
  • Use a tiered serving tray to present the fresh berries and garnishes at varying heights for visual interest.
