Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle relish, drained well

  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed

  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons pickle juice

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese and sour cream into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Use an electric mixer or a sturdy spoon to beat the ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in the drained dill pickle relish, chopped dill pickles, dried dill weed, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until everything is evenly combined.
  4. If you prefer a tangier dip, mix in the pickle juice now.
  5. Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  6. Serve your cold dip with potato chips, pretzels, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For a crunchier texture, reserve one tablespoon of the chopped pickles to stir in just before serving.
  • This dip is excellent made ahead of time; it tastes even better the next day.
