Make this simple baked ranch chicken for a quick, family-friendly weeknight dinner. The chicken stays juicy and is packed with savory ranch flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the dry ranch seasoning mix, mayonnaise, and Parmesan cheese until you form a thick paste.
  3. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Rub the olive oil over all sides of the chicken.
  4. Spread the ranch mixture evenly over the top surface of each chicken breast.
  5. Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the topping is lightly golden.
  7. Let the baked ranch chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispy ranch chicken, you can lightly coat the mayonnaise mixture with a thin layer of panko breadcrumbs before baking.
  • If you use chicken thighs instead of breasts, increase the baking time by 5 to 10 minutes.
  • This recipe works well for meal prep; store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
